Philadelphia FIGHT’s 1st HIV Prevention and Education Virtual Conference!

This conference welcomes all people including our youth who are interested in learning more about their sexual health, mental health, and the wide-range of issues that impact people living with HIV (PLWH/A) and the AIDS epidemic at large. With COVID-19 Pandemic in mind, we will also offer presentations on this contagion specific to its implications on the lives of those living with HIV and other high-risk health-related issues promoting prevention as a key to minimize its spread.

This conference will share evidence-based strategies and provide information on the latest treatment, research, prevention, and outreach strategies and aims to bring forward explicitly the social determinants of health that place people at risk. These determinants include stigma, institutional racism, transphobia, homophobia, healthcare access, economic injustice, housing insecurity, and mental health to name a few.

For our teens and young adults, this conference will offer sexual health education on body positivity, LGTBQ education, and other topics that will include various interactive activities, and giveaways in our YOUTH CENTRAL component of our virtual conference.
