Y-HEP Adolescent and Young Adult Health Center

Providing inclusive and accessible health care for all youth (ages 13 – 24). Our services include: primary care, mental health care, sexual & reproductive health care and PrEP.

FIGHT Family Dentistry

Our team specializes in a trauma-informed approach to dental care and welcomes patients with dental anxiety or a history of infrequent dental visits. We also coordinate with Philadelphia FIGHT medical providers and case management to ensure priority scheduling for existing FIGHT patients.

Community Health Centers Clinic at Broad Street Ministry

FIGHT Community Health Centers Clinic at Broad Street Ministry is a satellite site of the John Bell Health Center offering primary care to the guests of Broad Street Ministry.

Clinica Bienestar

In partnership with Prevention Point Philadelphia, Clinica Bienestar in North Philadelphia is one of the city’s first Spanish-speaking HIV clinics.

C a Difference / Hepatitis C

C a Difference is a comprehensive hepatitis C (HCV) testing and linkage-to-care program at Philadelphia FIGHT housed at the John Bell Health Center.

Community Prevention, Navigation & PrEP Services

The Community Prevention and Navigation Services program at Philadelphia FIGHT aims to provide HIV prevention services, linkage to care throughout the city of Philadelphia.

PrEP

PrEP is one pill swallowed once a day that can prevent HIV infection by more than 95%.

Supporting HIV positive women to heal, grow, maintain health, and achieve their goals.

Diana Baldwin Mental Health Clinic

The Diana Baldwin Mental Health Clinic provides culturally competent behavioral health services that address the psychological, social and emotional needs of every patient.

TREE IOP

Teach Recovery Education Empowerment (TREE) is a licensed Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for people living with HIV/AIDS and struggling with Drug and Alcohol Use Disorder.

Project TEACH

Our Signature Education program Project TEACH and our Peer Education program provide courses and workshops at FIGHT, in the community, and in schools.

Community Health Training Alliance

Our community and professional training program provides a year-long series of workshops, conferences, webinars, and symposiums on health topics that impact our most vulnerable communities. Such programming would include our AIDS Education Month series of events and the HIV/AIDS Prevention and Education Summit.

Critical Path Learning Center

An expansion of the AIDS Library and the Critical Path Project, The Critical Path Learning Center at Philadelphia FIGHT is an educational commons and stigma-free space devoted to the intersection of health and literacy for the digital age.

BenePhilly

BenePhilly offers FREE one-on-one enrollment support to help Philadelphia residents apply for over 20 public benefits. Trained counselors assist with completing applications, organizing key documents, and tracking their applications’ status.

FIGHT conducts advanced clinical research trials of new HIV medications and treatment strategies, and projects investigating a cure for the virus.

Spotlight On

Karam Mounzer, MD

Dr. Mounzer identified two major gaps in the care of patients with HIV/hepatitis C (HCV) co-infection, and the complexity of multidrug-resistant HIV treatment. He is involved with many clinical trials focusing on drug development and better understanding of HIV immunopathogenesis with the Wistar Institute. He is involved in teaching and mentoring.

Dr. Karam Mounzer

Dr. Mario Cruz

Dr. Mario CruzDr. Cruz is a board certified pediatrician who serves as the Medical Director for our Pediatrics and Adolescent Health Center. He has presented and/or published in the fields of community violence and domestic violence prevention, quality improvement, behavioral health, curriculum development and mentorship. In 2019 he received the Greater Philadelphia Social Innovation Award for Innovations in Healthcare.
