HIV Prevention & Education Virtual Conference

  • The conference is approved for 4 Continuing Education Units under the noted disciplines (LSW/LCSW, LMFT, LPC, RN/CRNP, CHES).
  • All webinars are approved and count towards the acquisition of the 4 continuing education units
  • You may view and review as many webinars as you like, but only 4 of the webinars you attend may go toward the 4 credit hours

Steps to Obtain CEU

  1. To acquire a certificate you must virtually attend and review a minimum of 4 webinars.
  2. Submit an evaluation for each webinar you attended.
  3. Make CEU payment (below).

If you have not filled out 4 evaluations for 4 different webinars, please complete the evaluations.

    Please be sure to review which CEU’s are being offered for the event attending before you submit payment.
  • If you are attending the HIV Prevention & Education Virtual Conference and intend to receive Continuing Education Credits, there will be a fee of $40 for a total of 4 credit hours.

    To obtain a certificate with an event number for the live webinar you attended, one must participate in a minimum of 4 webinars, make a payment, and submit an evaluation for each webinar you attended.

Spotlight On

Karam Mounzer, MD

Dr. Mounzer identified two major gaps in the care of patients with HIV/hepatitis C (HCV) co-infection, and the complexity of multidrug-resistant HIV treatment. He is involved with many clinical trials focusing on drug development and better understanding of HIV immunopathogenesis with the Wistar Institute. He is involved in teaching and mentoring.

Dr. Mario Cruz

Dr. Mario CruzDr. Cruz is a board certified pediatrician who serves as the Medical Director for our Pediatrics and Adolescent Health Center. He has presented and/or published in the fields of community violence and domestic violence prevention, quality improvement, behavioral health, curriculum development and mentorship. In 2019 he received the Greater Philadelphia Social Innovation Award for Innovations in Healthcare.
