Request a Community Presentation

Philadelphia FIGHT offers Peer Education Community Presentations to the Philadelphia community all year long. Trained peer educators, all of whom are Project TEACH graduates, will lead presentations at local agencies, churches and community groups, health fairs and more. Last year our Peer Education program provided community presentations to more than 6,500 people. All of these presentations are offered free to you and your community.

Our Peer Education team can present on various topics related to sexual health. Presentation topics include HIV 101, Hepatitis C, General Health/Advocacy, Managing Side Effects, and Sexually Transmitted Infections. The presentations will use storytelling to engage and inform audiences about the stigma people living with HIV/AIDS face every day, the challenges around access to knowledge, and why it is essential to know your status and obtain treatment as soon as possible. We aim to break down the barriers that deter people from obtaining reliable HIV information, getting tested and accessing treatment (preventive or post-infection).
