About Dana Serafin

Dana is a family nurse practitioner who brings to FIGHT 4 years of experience building an adolescent and young adult medicine practice at a community health center in the Bronx, NY. Dana’s work there had a strong focus on reproductive health services including long-acting reversible contraception, gynecologic care, and HIV prevention and PrEP services. It also included primary care in family medicine for patients of all ages. More recently, Dana has worked as a provider in Student Health Services at Temple University. Dana hopes to contribute to FIGHT a passion for working with at-risk, underserved populations, and provide accessible, low-barrier access to medical care and HIV prevention services. Dana loves to run and has completed several marathons including the NYC marathon. She hopes to train for and complete an Ironman triathlon one day.
