Dental Urgent Care
Philadelphia FIGHT Family Dentistry is committed to providing regular access to emergency dental care for existing FIGHT patients/clients. Because patient care is of utmost importance to us, we have developed these protocols to ensure that urgent dental needs can be addressed promptly.
- FIGHT patients/clients can walk-in for Urgent Care on any day that the clinic is open.
- Walk-ins should arrive at 8:30AM.
- Urgent Care appointments will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.
- The number of Urgent Care patients that can be seen on any given day will vary depending on clinic staffing.
Scope of Care
- Urgent Care appointments are reserved for true dental emergencies and are not meant to substitute for comprehensive dental care.
- Concerns that may constitute Urgent Care include, but are not limited to:
- I have a broken tooth
- I have an abscess
- My face is swollen
- My tooth is sensitive and/or painful
- I need a filling or have a cavity
- My filling fell out
- My crown fell out
- A dentist can address only one dental concern per Urgent Care visit.
- A dentist will do their best to address your concern but may determine that your dental issue cannot be completely resolved at our office and may need to refer you to see a specialist.
- You should expect significant wait times when presenting for Urgent Care.
- Urgent care is not a substitute for regular comprehensive dental care.
