Kassandra Petit, MS, CRNP joined the Jonathan Lax Center in August, 2023. A Boston native, Kassandra earned a B.S. in Health Sciences from University of Central Florida and an M.S. from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, where she studied Women’s Health Nursing and Adult Gerontology. She is board certified in both specialties. Before joining FIGHT, she worked at Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood in Albany, New York, and Spectrum Health Services in Philadelphia.
“I’m a forever student,” Kassandra said. “Health care is always changing, the newest treatment, the newest guidelines. I want to make sure my patients are getting the most current evidence-based care. I’m here to help people be the healthiest version of themselves, but at the end of the day the patient is the driver of their own lives,” she added. “I’m big on shared decision making.”
