About Kate Cerrone
Kate Cerrone is a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked at Philadelphia FIGHT’s John Bell Health Center as a nurse manager from 2015-2018. Kate has traveled extensively, taking on meaningful Public Health Projects in Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, Cambodia, and Malawi as well as working for 2 years as a Clinical Coordination Nurse at Delaware Valley Community Health in Philadelphia. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Kate completed the Second Degree Accelerated Nursing Program at the Drexel University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2012. Kate received her Masters of Science in Nursing from LaSalle University in 2018 with a focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Beyond her clinical experience, Kate graduated magma cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health with a minor in Spanish from Rutgers University in 2009.
With her clinical and public health expertise, coupled with her passion for working with immigrants and urban populations, Kate remains an important part of our clinical team at the John Bell Health Center and FIGHT Pediatrics. Kate is assisting in facilitating our “Family Visits”, where adult and teen parents are able to be seen with their child, in the same clinic, by the same provider, in the same exam room!
