About Ta-Wanda Preston

Ta-Wanda Preston is the Viral Hepatitis Program Operations Coordinator at the John Bell Health Center. She has been at FIGHT since September 2016 and loves working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that works to ensure patients get the quality care they need. Ta-Wanda has 25 years of experience in the area of HIV Prevention Services, and before joining Philadelphia FIGHT, she was a linkage specialist for the Viral Hepatitis C program at Drexel Medicine.  She hopes that her experience in dealing with diverse populations will help provide clients with comprehensive quality care.  Ta-Wanda wants clients to feel like their concerns are addressed in a way that honors them as human beings.

Ta-Wanda says she is typically very shy, and when she is not working, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, crocheting, and working out to relieve stress. Ta-Wanda is passionate about social justice. Her motto: “You only die once so live life to the fullest each day.”
