About Dana Pfeiffer

Dana has been employed with FIGHT since 2023. Dana is the Project TEACH Classroom Assistant. Prior to her employment with FIGHT, Dana had the opportunity to serve as a Project TEACH intern for two academic years while studying at Temple University. As the Classroom Assistant, Dana supports the facilitation of Project TEACH classes and its ancillary programs (Women’s TEACH, TEACH Outside, and Youth TEACH).

Dana received her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from West Chester University. At West Chester University, Dana served as a Peer Educator for the Center for Women and Gender Equity, promoting safer sex practices among students. Dana uses a feminist lens in her practice – paying attention to systems of power, utilizing critical self-reflection, and recognizing the personal as political. Dana went on to receive her Master’s in Social Work at Temple University, where she was introduced to community health education through field education with Project TEACH at Philadelphia FIGHT.

In her free time, Dana enjoys watching thrillers, cooking a good meal, and searching for hidden gems at thrift stores.

Dana is passionate about accessible, comprehensive, and shame-free sexual health education for all. Knowledge is power, TEACH one TEACH ten.
