May is Better Sleep Month. Who said more sleep isn’t good for you? Because the Better Sleep Council can prove that it is! Refreshing sleep is a major contributor to staying healthy. Better Sleep Month, which is recognized yearly in May, is supported by the Better Sleep Council (BSC), which aims to raise awareness about the benefits of better sleep and how poor sleep can disrupt our lives. The Center for Disease Control & Prevention has proclaimed that insufficient sleep a public health epidemic. As with diet and exercise, sleep is crucial to our physical, emotional and mental health.
