Caitlin Jaeckel Joins Philadelphia FIGHT as Associate Medical Director at Broad Street Love Clinic

Caitlin Jaeckel, PA-C, MHS, AAHIVS, has joined FIGHT’s clinic at Broad Street Love in September. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from James Madison University and a Master of Health Science – Physician Assistant degree from Drexel University’s College of Nursing and Health Professions. Prior to coming to FIGHT, Caitlin worked at Courage Medicine, and Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine ‘s Center for Urban Bioethics.

“My first two jobs as P.A.’s were really street-based medicine in Kensington,” she explains. Her most recent position was as a Physician Assistant at Bebashi Transition to Hope, where she focused on HIV care and health education. Caitlin says two rotations at The Lax Center as a student at Drexel convinced her FIGHT’s clinic at Broad Street Love was the perfect fit for her.

“This place is awesome,” Caitlin says. “Most patients are coming for some other reason. ‘I’m coming for the food service. I’m coming for the mailbox. Oh, there’s also health care.’ So, it’s really meeting people where they are.” Caitlin is replacing Kevin Lagor, who did an exceptional job this year overseeing the renovation and expansion of the clinic. Please join us in wishing Kevin the best and welcoming Caitlin to FIGHT!
