Philadelphia FIGHT is a designated Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), which allows us to care for any child, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. You should know that we have agreements with most major insurance companies. For those without insurance we are required by law to ask for payment according to a sliding fee scale. It is critical that your child be insured because even if we see you, many specialists will only see patients with insurance and many medications are too expensive to afford without insurance. If needed, we have a benefits coordinator who can support you with your application for health insurance.
