Since 1994 Philadelphia FIGHT has hosted AIDS Education Month (AEM), a series of events throughout Philadelphia to increase AIDS awareness and to bring people together to find strategies to combat the virus.
HIV Prevention & Education Virtual Conference: Continuing the work during the COVID-19 Pandemic
June 2020 marks the 26th year of AIDS Education Month. Historically, AEM has been a series of educational events throughout Philadelphia promoting HIV AIDS education during the month of June. Due to COVID-19 and social restrictions, we will be hosting our 1st virtual conference during the entire month of June for AEM.
Our goal is to offer an amazing virtual experience through our robust schedule of webinars. Through this virtual forum, we strive to increase awareness and messaging of the importance of prevention as it pertains to HIV/AIDS AND COVID- 19. This conference will offer a wide range of information that offers historical context, trending data, and current information around treatment and strategies to combat and prevent the spread of HIV and COVID-19.
