Bridge Over Troubled Water

This group discusses personal and family issues related to HIV. The first and second Monday of each month are also open to loved ones and family, the third and fourth Mondays are open only to people living with HIV. The first Monday is Spirituality for Wellness, open to all religious backgrounds. Some sessions are led by the Lax Center Pharmacy Department’s Adherence Group.

Computer Classes

The Critical Path Project teaches FREE computer classes, including Intro to Computers and the Internet, Job Readiness, Blogging and Social Media, and more. Most classes meet twice a week for one month. Students must be enrolled. Call to find out what class is right for you.

Spotlight On

Karam Mounzer, MD

Dr. Mounzer identified two major gaps in the care of patients with HIV/hepatitis C (HCV) co-infection, and the complexity of multidrug-resistant HIV treatment. He is involved with many clinical trials focusing on drug development and better understanding of HIV immunopathogenesis with the Wistar Institute. He is involved in teaching and mentoring fellows, residents and students.

This NOVEMBER Philadelphia FIGHT will be opening a new Pediatric and Adolescent Health Center dedicated to providing high quality, comprehensive, primary care to address the physical, emotional and sexual health needs of inner-city children and youth from birth through age 24.
