Bio

Annette B. Gadegbeku, MD is Director of Adult Medicine at John Bell Health Center and Jonathan Lax Treatment Center of Philadelphia FIGHT Community Health Centers. Dr. Gadegbeku is a Family Medicine Physician who specializes in primary care for all ages (from pediatrics to geriatrics)! She has a passion for underserved, marginalized, vulnerable, and at-risk populations with a focus on harm reduction. In addition to community health, she has special interests in women’s health, office procedural medicine, adolescent medicine, and global health.

Dr. Gadegbeku is also Associate Professor in the Department of Family, Community & Preventive Medicine and Assistant Dean of Community Health at Drexel University College of Medicine where she works to establish local partnerships to promote urban health equity and engages students and faculty in health equity-related scholarship and service in collaboration with the University and community stakeholders. She has implemented longitudinal curricula for Community Health, Refugee Health, Addiction Medicine, and trauma-informed care and has implemented multiple community outreach programs at various sites in Philadelphia.
