A webinar reviewing basic nutrition concepts and what makes up a healthy eating regimen.
After participating in this webinar:
- Service providers will acquire the language to effectively
discuss the dimensions that make up overall health and
wellness with their clients.
- Service providers will be able to assess with those they
serve the role macronutrients play in the body, and
direct them to further readings and practical resources.
- Service providers will be able to translate information
presented on a Nutrition Label for their clients.
- Participants will be able to identify common media-driven nutrition-related misinformation.
This program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers for 1 continuing education contact hours.
Marlee Finkelstein is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian in the greater Philadelphia area. In her practice, she combines her passions in exercise physiology and nutrition to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to health and wellness.
Currently practicing as a Clinical Dietitian in in-patient services, Marlee still maintains her private practice and is seeing clients on a part-time basis.
