Nhakia Outland, MSW

Nhakia Outland, MSW (she, her, hers) is a queer Black woman and mother of three children ages 21, 20, and 11. She has more than 15 years of social work and sexuality education experience. She is an ally for underserved and marginalized communities in Philadelphia, PA. Nhaka is currently the Program Manager at Mazzoni Center in Philadelphia, PA. In this capacity, she manages several programs including the Linkage to Care and Navigation programs.

Nhakia also has two sexual health businesses, Prevention is Key Consulting, LLC and Prevention Meets Fashion, Inc. Prevention is Key Consulting, LLC is a sexual health business that provides inclusive and supportive education, training, and consultation services on sexual and reproductive health and Prevention Meets Fashion Inc. (PMF) is a nonprofit organization that focuses on the intersections of fashion, social work, sexual and reproductive health (SRH) using fashion as a clinical and community tool.

Karam Mounzer, MD

Dr. Mounzer identified two major gaps in the care of patients with HIV/hepatitis C (HCV) co-infection, and the complexity of multidrug-resistant HIV treatment. He is involved with many clinical trials focusing on drug development and better understanding of HIV immunopathogenesis with the Wistar Institute. He is involved in teaching and mentoring.

Dr. Mario Cruz

Dr. Mario CruzDr. Cruz is a board certified pediatrician who serves as the Medical Director for our Pediatrics and Adolescent Health Center. He has presented and/or published in the fields of community violence and domestic violence prevention, quality improvement, behavioral health, curriculum development and mentorship. In 2019 he received the Greater Philadelphia Social Innovation Award for Innovations in Healthcare.
