Each summer, FIGHT works with Bridging the Gaps students representing health and social service disciplines, including medicine, dentistry, nursing, social work, public health and related fields.

Beginning on June 1st, FIGHT will host the 23rd annual AIDS Education Month (AEM), a series of events throughout Philadelphia to increase AIDS awareness and to bring people together to find strategies to combat the virus. Register Now

On Wednesday January 25th, FIGHT hosted the kick-off for AIDS Education Month 2017, attended by over 300 planning partners, community members and AEM Co-chair, Reggie Shuford from ACLU-PA and FIGHT Board Secretary Lovada Washington.

Philly4Pulse Dance for Orlando

The #Philly4Pulse Dance for Orlando Community Event benefit raised $106,752 for the victims and their families of the June 12, 2016 shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

Thank You to Our 2015 AIDS Walk Team!

Thank you, Team Philadelphia FIGHT for helping us kick off our 25th Anniversary Celebration at this year’s AIDS Walk Philly. Together, we raised over $13,000 and registered over 100 people for the walk/run.

Teyana Taylor Will Headline Hip Hop for Philly 2015

Philadelphia FIGHT, in partnership with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and over 15 community-based organizations, will present the third annual “Hip Hop for Philly” FREE concert featuring Teyana Taylor on Saturday, June 27th.

Spotlight On

Karam Mounzer, MD

Dr. Mounzer identified two major gaps in the care of patients with HIV/hepatitis C (HCV) co-infection, and the complexity of multidrug-resistant HIV treatment. He is involved with many clinical trials focusing on drug development and better understanding of HIV immunopathogenesis with the Wistar Institute. He is involved in teaching and mentoring fellows, residents and students.

This NOVEMBER Philadelphia FIGHT will be opening a new Pediatric and Adolescent Health Center dedicated to providing high quality, comprehensive, primary care to address the physical, emotional and sexual health needs of inner-city children and youth from birth through age 24.
