The Board of Directors of Philadelphia FIGHT is pleased to announce Angella Wells, MPH, MBA as the Chief Operating Officer. We are excited to have someone with her expertise and dedication in this role. Wells indicated she is “both humbled and honored to join the executive management team to provide leadership in the development and implementation of community focused programs that support FIGHT’s mission of strengthening communities and inspiring change in social justice.”

As the Chief Operating Officer, she is responsible to direct the operations, administrative and strategic activities of Philadelphia FIGHT as well as oversee the department of Human Resources to build a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.

With more than 20 years of experience in public health, Wells has worked across top clinical, research, community-based organizations, and academic settings in New Jersey, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia. Wells has an undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College in which she completed a self-designed interdisciplinary major entitled “Politics of Healthcare”. She holds a MPH from Drexel University School of Public Health and a MBA from Rutgers University School of Business.
