To be able to provide better service to the HIV community by assisting them with all their medication needs.
I counsel patients individually about the importance of adherence to their antiretrovirals. I also serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students from Univ. of the Sciences in Phila (USP)and Temple Universary.
A specific moment that stands out during my career was helping a patient with a CD4 count of 9 and Viral Load of 262,919 get to a CD4 count of over 100 and a Viral Load of less than 400 in less than 4 months by supplying weekly pill trays and stressing the importance of adherence.
I am kept motivated by the knowing that I am making a difference in the lives of many patients every day.
