June 27th is National HIV Testing Day!
June 27th is National HIV Testing Day. On this particular day and throughout the month of June, various churches, community centers, and social services agencies will be coming together to offer FREE HIV Testing. This is a collaborative effort among many organizations throughout Philadelphia to combat the AIDS epidemic. Philadelphia has one of the highest rates of HIV throughout the United States, at 21.7 cases per 100,000 people (www.avert.org). Encourage your family, friends, and your loved ones around you to come out and get tested at one of the many sites around the city!
Please take a look at the calendar to find the site that will be offering HIV testing closest to you. Check back to regularly to see the updated sites!
