The Youth Outreach, Education, and Empowerment Summit was created to engage youth between the ages of 13 and 24 in Philadelphia to be involved in leadership roles in HIV/AIDS Prevention, peer education and/or advocacy initiatives and to address HIV/AIDS as a social justice health issue.
In its fourth year, we have designed the summit to bring together youth and adults from all sections of the city. The primary goal of the Youth Outreach, Educational, and Empowerment Summit is to engage and educate youth about issues that impact them today with workshops about Sexual
HIV and STD testing will be available during this day. While at the summit, youth and adults will have the opportunity to meet other youth and organizations that are a part of the social change, participate in workshops, gather information, connect with others, and learn more about issues that impact youth in 2010.
Youth Outreach Education and Empowerment Summit is designed the summit to bring together youth and adults from all sections of the city. The primary goal of the Summit is to engage and educate youth about issues that impact them today.
This year's Youth Outreach Education and Empowerment Summit content will focus around the following track areas:
