CONFIDENTIALITY ON THE INTERNET: Philadelphia FIGHT respects each of our user’s right to confidentiality, whether a Person With AIDS (PWA) or just an interested individual or service provider. Our treatment and program mailing lists are never shared. Our newsletter mailing lists are confidential and never shared. All information about patients, consumers and program participants is confidential. Lists obtained from special events fundraisers are, however, shared from time to time. If you are on a list, you are welcome to be removed upon request. You can register for our on-line services using a “handle” or pseudonym if you choose to. You should, however, be aware that all e-mail unlike US Postal Service first class mail in a sealed envelope is potentially public–it can be copied, captured en route, forwarded, or retained or republished in some other way. Therefore, please use discretion in both private e-mail or e-mail posted to an interactive list–treat it like a postcard message rather than a private communication or phone conversation. If you have any comments, grievances, or other feedback, please contact us.
